Newsletter from the Director – September 2022 / Carta de la Directora – Setiembre 2022

We concluded the first month of the 2022-2023 School Year with great satisfaction for the good news and optimism for the programs that will be conducted during the upcoming months.

We welcome the 22 new families and 26 new students who joined our community in August-2022. To some of these students and families: Welcome Back!

We invite all families with children over 2 years of age to explore our Toddlers Program, which purpose is to serve as the first step in the education of the youngest members of our community. For more information, please contact Ms. Verónica (aiscr@ais.ed.cr).

We are confident that our incorporation to the Board of Directors of ACEP (Association of Private Schools), will provide us with access to important information and the possibility of giving our opinion regarding the issues that concern private education in Costa Rica.

Our After School classes have already begun their participation in national tournaments. Our best wishes for success to the Basketball and Gymnastics teams that will have competitions this month, and congratulations to our students who are members of the RF7 Soccer Team – Division U11 who won 2nd place in the 2022 Linafa Tournament. Go Falcons!

We reiterate the invitation to all parents of students in grades 4th through 12th, to attend the informational meeting for Space Camp. The session will be face-to-face on the night of September 6th. You can watch the documentary “The Mars Generation” (available on Netflix), to learn about some of the activities and projects in which the students would participate during their week at NASA.
